amigurumi, hall of fame

Hall of Fame: June 2018

Last year I started writing monthly wrap up posts, where I would share things I made that month. But sometimes I have nothing interesting to show you (or I forget to take pictures haha) so I figured it would be way nicer to also show things YOU made!

So without further ado, here are some things you made! If you want to get featured here, just tag me in your post on facebook or instagram or you can always send me an email 🙂 I love seeing what you made and talking to you guys. So don’t be shy and be sure to send me a message on any of my social media – I’d love to talk to you!

I secretly started this “Hall of Fame” series just so I could introduce you to the amazing things Alex made! They’ve been busy customizing my bird pattern to make different kinds of birds. I struggle choosing a favourite because they are all so cute 😀 The blue budgie is one I recognized because I had made it before and the rest is so original. I love the beak of the puffin, the detail in the crest of the Major Mitchell Cockatoo and the colors of the Cockatiel. And they just keep making more!

I have mostly been busy making toys for Knot Forgotten. I translated the full pattern so we’d hopefully get more Dutch makers. Here is the pattern if someone is interested. I also made keychain versions of all toys to sell to raise money for Knot Forgotten. Then last week, Justine was in the Netherlands and we met up with her and another Dutch crocheter. I had so much fun showing her my little country and giving her the 22 toys the Dutch hub has raised so far :).

I also made a unicorn (this pattern) for a CAL on the Learn Amigurumi facebook group. It was a fun pattern and I was happy to have it finished on time! It’s a perfect pattern for pride month (even though we still have a more than a month until Amsterdam Pride starts).
